Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, plus overtime

Salary: £33,280-£45,760 per annum depending on experience, with additional overtime

Our client, PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, is looking for CNC Machine Operators to join their growing CNC machining facility, with career progression opportunities for their CNC Machinists and Programmers.

As CNC Machine Operator, you will be competent in machining and programming CNC machined parts.

You will take pride in the quality of your workmanship, be self-driven and able to work autonomously, and have a strong work ethic.

PWR is a global market leader in the design and manufacture of high performance, automotive cooling solutions, supplying high profile race teams in Formula 1, NASCAR, V8 Supercars, WRC, DTM, and LMP among others.

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machinery
• Liaise with the engineering and design departments
• Troubleshoot problematic jobs
• Maintain a safe and tidy workspace.

Person specification:

• Hold a trade qualification, such as fitter machinist or similar with practical experience
• Experience of High-Speed Machining; Mazak Variaxis and HAAS machining centres desirable
• Experience with 5 Axis or 3+2 off-line programming
• Experience with MasterCam or Hypermill software
• Experience in a high-speed machining environment with direct experience in aluminium surface and feature machining of complex components of an aerospace or motorsport industry
• Experience with the creation of setup sheets and overseeing the proving out of new programs
• Good understanding of tooling selection and procedures.
